We are pleased to announce the close and successful cooperation between ABB PMA Cable Protection in Uster and nLine. In a partnership project, our optical inline inspection system was successfully integrated into ABB PMA's ongoing production, further improving quality assurance and process stability in production at ABB PMA.

As part of the evaluation of new quality assurance
methods, ABB PMA came across our system. In addition to the
price-performance ratio, the ability to precisely detect surface
impurities, the flexible adjustment options and the integrated filter
functions were decisive for the decision.
Easy to use, fast results
For ABB PMA, the intuitive operation and ease of
commissioning of the new applications was a significant plus. The
introduction of the inline inspection system was perceived as
professional, particularly pleasant and efficient.
Positive effects on Quality and Efficiency
Although a final evaluation of the results is still
pending, clear improvements and a significant gain in process
reliability are already emerging. In addition, the inline inspection
system was able to show that certain quality deviations occur much more
frequently than previously assumed. nLine's new quality monitoring
system enables complete detection. With this insight, it is possible to
correct these quality deviations with priority.
Collaboration and Outlook
Since ABB PMA Cable Protection introduced the nLine
inspection system, we have been working in partnership to further
develop the product together according to customer requirements. Thanks
to the regular exchange, we have already been able to successfully
implement several of the extensions requested by ABB PMA over the past
six months. We are looking forward to further joint development and
cooperation!
